The series

Three volumes, one handbook

Volume I keeps the concepts. Volume II shows how the systems and their parts work. Volume III puts them to use in a small energy system you own. Each volume is complete in itself; each is capped at 470 pages so every edition, including lay-flat coil, stays one book.

Volume I

Preserving Knowledge

Thirty-two chapters on where electrical science came from and the ideas mainstream courses have stopped teaching: Tesla, Steinmetz, Heaviside, Dollard and the alternative lineage, told fairly and rated claim by claim. Every contested idea gets its strongest honest telling, an evidence status, and what has changed in recent research.

Manuscript drafted and audited; typesetting next. Parts I to VII.

Volume II

System Anatomies

How the parts of an electrical world come to exist and how the big systems work: units and measurement, conductors, magnets, cells, machines, chemical energy, heat and cold. The plates show each system as an annotated anatomy (purpose, named parts, energy flow, governing principle, key numbers, failure modes, hazards). Systems are described, not given as instructions.

Outlined; drafting after Volume I. Parts VIII to XIII.

Volume III

Off-Grid Solutions

Designing, running and maintaining a small energy system you own: load audits, solar, wind and water, storage, protection and hardening. Then signals and keeping knowledge alive, and about forty one-page builds of simple, low-hazard electrical things, from a voltaic pile to a crystal radio.

Outlined; drafting after Volume II. Parts XIV to XVI.
